Kongress Palais Kassel
Unique. Forward-looking. Central.
The Kongress Palais Kassel has specious and flexible event rooms and areas. A total of 8,500 m2 is divided into 39 lecture, workshop and meeting rooms, as well as 2,800 m2 of exhibition space. 4,600 m2 of outside space is also available. The largest hall has capacity for 1,847 people with seating in rows and up to 2,950 at concerts without seating. All the rooms of the Kongress Palais Kassel are timelessly elegant.
The Historic Building, designed and built 100 years ago, delights visitors with its neo-classical architecture and creates an impressive and spectacular atmosphere.
Spacious in its design, transparent and with clear shapes, the Kolonnaden Flügel, completed in 2011, is a striking extension. The architect impressively succeeded in realising architectural consistency with the Historic Building, as well as the independence of the new areas and rooms.
The Aschrott Flügel, an equally timeless extension, is characterised by its functional clarity and flexible, spacious event areas. Universal design is present here, as in the whole building.
All the sections of the Kongress Palais Kassel can be accessed centrally or via separate entrances.
Two adjacent outside areas are also available to event planners for their exclusive use: Holger-Börner-Platz, as the presentable area in front of the Historic Building, and the concert garden by the Kolonnaden Flügel, which also has a stairway reminiscent of an amphitheatre.
